This position is based out of the New Castle, PA office.

About the PositionThe Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods to job sites and company locations in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, compliance with DOT regulations, and outstanding customer service during each delivery interaction. Drivers also assist with loading and unloading materials, vehicle inspections, maintaining delivery documentation, and supporting basic warehouse tasks, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.

- Operates company delivery trucks or vans to transport products in a safe and compliant manner.
- Performs pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance, reporting maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Loads and unloads materials using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.
- Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks to load and unload trucks and more materials into the warehouse.
- Secures and transports materials to job sites and customer locations.
- Reviews delivery documents, packing lists, and obtains required delivery signatures.
- Communicates effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and field teams to coordinate routes, delivery times, delivery updates or issues.
- Plans routes efficiently to optimize delivery timing and fuel usage.
- Maintains accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, hours of service, and delivery logs.
- Follows all company safety policies and operational guidelines and DOT regulations.
- Reports vehicle malfunctions, delays, or delivery challenges promptly.
- Provides courteous, professional service and represents the Company positively at all customer locations.
- Performs light warehouse duties such as stocking, inventory pulls and general housekeeping.
- Assists with receiving, storing and staging materials in the warehouse.
- Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
- Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.
- Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.
