The Engineering Team builds solutions that enable hourly workers and enterprises to achieve flexibility, choice, and upward social mobility.

• Lead complex technical projects from ideation to production, such as tuning the dispatch algorithm and building onboarding experiences.
• Design, architect, and build highly performant and reliable technical features using Node.js, React/React Native, Mongo
  
  DB, Python, and GCP.
• Drive technical vision, influence product strategy, and conduct regular technical reviews.
• Monitor and maintain product performance in a high‑volume marketplace to resolve issues and keep the shift marketplace running.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to scaling the engineering team.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with core competency in JavaScript, Type Script, or Python.
• Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with leadership, PMs, designers, and engineers on modern tech stacks.
• Outcome‑oriented mindset focused on business impact.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, clarity in ambiguity, and initiative to own outcomes.
• Passion for working in a fast‑paced early‑stage startup.
