US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Receive, store, and assemble for issue, shipment, and distribution a wide variety of materials using mechanized, automated, and manual material moving equipment;
Receive, unload and process incoming shipments, and verify documentation against labels;
Report over, short, misdirected, or damaged materials following established procedures;
Prepare items for shipment in the loading area and check shipping containers prior to loading;
Conduct inventories, count types and quantities, and maintain tally listings; assist in locating misplaced items
