GeM invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the following position(s) on Contractual Basis:

This is a contractual engagement under the Project Management Unit (PMU) for an initial period of 5 years, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements.

JOB SUMMARY
The individual will be responsible for orchestrating the continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release management processes.

Your role will ensure seamless and efficient delivery of high-quality software products into production environments. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to establish and optimize CI/CD
pipelines, automate release processes, and enhance overall software delivery capabilities. You will design,review and maintain CI/CD pipelines, coordinate with cross-functional teams for updates and new features, and prioritize system stability, minimizing manual tasks, and ensuring rapid, reliable releases to meet business objectives.
The role requires a fast learner, adept at quickly adapting to and mastering new technologies and tools in line with project requirements.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Act as a SPOC for GeM for the entire CI/CD strategy, execution, and release processes.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines for automation of build, test, and deployment processes including security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the software.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the CI/CD infrastructure, overseeing the monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of CI/CD processes.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to the build, test, and deployment processes.
Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring a smooth and timely deployment of applications into production environments.
Manage version control systems to track changes and ensure that the correct version of the application is deployed at each stage of the release process.
