Curriculum Link Leader 6-8 Social Studies
The Curriculum Link Leader provides coordination of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning within the designated subject area in New Fairfield Public Schools. This role ensures coherence and consistency for students in our district programs across grade-levels and grade-bands and also provides leadership of relevant and meaningful professional learning experiences for staff.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Valid Connecticut teaching certification in the relevant subject area. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in NFPS, or at discretion of administration with curriculum design experience and instructional excellence. Strong understanding of subject-area and demonstrated effective instructional practice and curriculum implementation in the classroom. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of educators and stakeholders.
Salary: $1,631 annual stipend
