VACANCY NOTICE

NEW FAIRFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION

POSITION:
Full Time Maintenance Electrician

7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday

REPORTS TO:

Director of Facilities

GENERAL DUTIES:

* Possess prior electrical maintenance experience (K12, municipal, or institutional experience preferred)

* Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on electrical systems and equipment

* Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable state and local codes and district standards

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

* Collaborate with custodial, maintenance, and administrative staff to support safe and efficient school operations

* Respond to after-hours or emergency calls as required

* Maintain accurate work orders and documentation of completed repairs

* Follow all OSHA, state, and district safety procedures

* Demonstrate professionalism when working around students, staff, and the public

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold a valid Connecticut electrical license

(E-1 license preferred)

SALARY:
Per Bargaining Unit Contract
