The pastor functions as the dynamic, spiritual leader for the two churches as they pursue a re-growth and development initiative. In collaboration with the deacons and other church leaders, the pastor will lead worship services, preach and teach, provide pastoral care and promote fellowship, provide discipleship training, establish new and maintain existing connections for community outreach and engagement.
Working conditions- The position is a sole pastorate, with no other paid staff, serving two rural churches, one with weekly services, and the other with bi-weekly services approximately nine months of the year.
- Driver’s license and vehicle in good working condition is required.
- A parsonage is available if preferred. Otherwise, must live within a reasonable commute to facilitate visitation.
