Project Accountant – Hybrid (Seabrook, NH) About the Opportunity for a Project Accountant
Ready to take your accounting career to the next level near the Seacoast? We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join a thriving organization in Seabrook, NH. This hybrid position offers the perfect blend of in-office collaboration (3 days) and remote flexibility (2 days), all while working on a diverse and evolving property portfolio—including active construction and work-in-progress (WIP) projects.
In this role, you’ll step into a high-impact seat where your expertise as a Project Accountant will directly support both stabilized assets and ongoing development initiatives.

- Manage day-to-day accounting functions including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Track and report on construction budgets, job costs, and WIP schedules
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, identifying trends and variances
- Partner closely with property managers, project managers, and leadership to provide actionable financial insights
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience (real estate required; construction/WIP exposure strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger management
- Experience with job costing, development accounting, or WIP reporting is a major plus
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems
- Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 + bonus potential
