KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with an engineering/construction company local to the Milford, NH area in their search for a Senior Accountant. This position is onsite and will report to the Controller. The responsibilities will include supporting a growing organization operating in multiple states with different lines of business that support each other. This role reports to a Controller and interacts with folks across operations and finance.
Responsibilities- Preparation of financial statements, accruals, journal entries, project accounting including some cost.
- Balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, vendor and client account reconciliations.
- Assist with month end close, quarter close, year-end, assist with budgets, revenue accounting.
- Support and implement process improvements across accounting as needed, support audits and special projects.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- More than three years experience in a medium to large organization
- Advanced Excel skills, solid systems skills
Compensation: $90-110k plus excellent benefits.
