Position
Description:
The Controller will plan and direct the company's accounting operations. Responsible for overseeing the operations of the Accounting Department, which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
Essential Functions:

- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Treasury Management and cash forecasting.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing and audit processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA Certification (Preferred).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with construction software, preferably Vista.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
