Position: Adjunct Grant and Contract Administrator I
Location: Durham

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app. The Grant & Contract Administrator I (GCA I) supports the University of New Hampshire’s research enterprise by performing proposal preparation activities for pre-award compliance teammates and faculty.

Duties/Responsibilities (75%)
  • Maintain accurate and complete proposal records. This requires entering data in the CAYUSE Electronic Research Administration System.
  • Ensure the routing chains are correct and approvals are captured for proposal submissions.
  • Upload required proposal documents into Cayuse and verify the accuracy of documents.
  • Maintain accurate Team Dynamics records.
  • Assistance with standard business components of grant applications.
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all grant-related materials to meet proposal deadlines.
  • Cultivate an exceptional work environment by consistently putting forth an optimistic attitude and a willingness to help others.
Duties/Responsibilities (25%)
  • Assistance with standard business components of grant applications.
  • Provide administrative support for the Pre Award Compliance Team.
  • Provides informational assistance to principal investigators and others as needed.
  • Attends regular meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum Acceptable

Education & Experience:

  • HS or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in database management and spreadsheets.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills – must feel comfortable working on various platforms.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment and take ownership of work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of college/university practices, especially in research administration.
  • Experience with Cayuse, Team Dynamics, and Workday.

Compensation Pay Range

$22.00 - $25.00
