Location: Durham

The Program Support Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Assistive Technology New Hampshire (ATinNH) program within the Institute on Disability. This role helps ensure the smooth delivery of services that increase access to assistive technology across New Hampshire, including equipment loans, trainings, demonstrations, and outreach initiatives.

ATinNH works to connect individuals with disabilities, families, educators, and professionals to assistive technology that supports independence, learning, and community participation. The Program Support Assistant plays a key role in supporting these efforts through coordination, communication, and program operations.

Duties/Responsibilities Program & Administrative Support – 60%
Provide day-to-day administrative support for ATinNH programs and activities

Maintain program records, databases, and tracking systems (e.g., equipment loans, participant data)
Assist with scheduling meetings, trainings, and events

Prepare materials, reports, and correspondence

Support coordination of assistive technology lending library, including inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and documentation

Assist with equipment demonstrations, reuse programs, and device preparation

Help ensure accurate data collection for program evaluation and reporting

Support coordination of assistive technology Maker Ability Hub, including maker coordination and communication, inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and documentation

Customer Service & Communication – 15%
Serve as a point of contact for program participants, partners, and stakeholders

Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner

Provide general information about assistive technology services and resources

Event & Training Coordination – 15%
Assist in planning and executing trainings, workshops, and outreach events

Coordinate logistics such as registration, materials, and technology setup

Support virtual and in-person events

Outreach & Collaboration – 10%
Support outreach efforts to community partners, service providers, and organizations

Assist with maintaining resource lists and distributing program information

Contribute to promoting inclusive access to assistive technology across the state

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable

Education & Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in human services, education, public health, or related field

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and equity

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability in a dynamic, service-oriented environment

Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in inclusive settings

Familiarity with assistive technology or disability services

Experience with data entry, database management, or program coordination

Event planning or customer service experience
