Automotive Equipment Mechanic
Our client, an industry leader in telecommunications and infrastructure services, is seeking a dedicated Automotive Equipment Mechanic to join their team. As an Automotive Equipment Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting vehicle operations and ensuring safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?- Receive reports of trouble on company motor vehicles and perform testing, analysis, and repairs using standard automotive tools and procedures.
- Make adjustments, repairs, and replace motor equipment parts as necessary to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Complete administrative paperwork for each job to maintain accurate records.
- Work at a garage location, often exposed to dirt and grease, while adhering to safety practices and procedures.
- Perform duties in all weather conditions, supporting vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Experience or training in automotive or mechanical fields, such as vocational-technical school or military service in motor vehicle maintenance.
- Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to operate cars, trucks, and vans, including manual transmissions.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Department of Transportation Certificate if driving vehicles over 10,000 pounds.
- Ability to operate hydraulic lifts and perform physical tasks required for vehicle maintenance.
- Willingness to work evening shifts, overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends, and holidays as required.
