Mechanical Foreman – Water/Wastewater Construction
Skilled Trades Partners is currently recruiting for a direct hire opportunity with a highly respected and growing heavy civil/mechanical contractor specializing in water and wastewater treatment construction throughout New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead field crews on complex mechanical and process piping projects including treatment facilities, pump stations, and industrial piping systems. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone with strong field experience who can effectively manage crews while actively working alongside them in the field.

Responsibilities- Lead and supervise mechanical crews on active construction sites
- Coordinate daily field operations, manpower, equipment, and materials
- Oversee installation of process piping systems, pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and specifications
- Maintain job site safety, production goals, and quality standards
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and field personnel
- Assist with scheduling, field documentation, and project progress tracking
- Mentor and develop field personnel while leading by example
- 5+ years of mechanical construction experience with leadership responsibilities
- Direct experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction required
- Strong background in process piping systems and mechanical equipment installation
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience supervising crews and coordinating field operations
- OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Welding, rigging, pipe fitting, or equipment operation experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license required
