Our client is a growing heavy civil and site development contractor seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on project experience, mentorship from experienced construction professionals, and a clear path for career growth.
Whether you've worked internships, completed co-ops, participated in construction projects during school, or have 1-3 years of experience, we'd love to speak with you.
What You'll Learn & Do- Work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents on active construction projects
- Assist with project coordination and daily operations
- Track project costs, quantities, RFIs, submittals, and documentation
- Help manage schedules, change orders, and project reporting
- Gain exposure to roadway, utility, site development, and infrastructure projects
- Build practical field and project management experience
- Internship, co-op, or 1-3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or related fields
- Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar educational background preferred
- Ability to read construction plans and drawings (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry
- $60,000 - $75,000 salary based on experience
