Overview

Goodhue Boat Company is growing and we are looking for driven, enthusiastic, and talented individuals to join our team and grow with us! We are looking for a Full-time, Parts Specialist to help us in delivering award-winning customer service and creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers.

This position will assist the Parts Manager in ensuring the success of the Marina at our Wolfeboro.

Responsibilities
  • The Parts Specialist is responsible for assisting the Parts Manager with parts inventory, cycle count and ordering supplies needed for service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assist walk-in customers, as well as phone customers with their parts and accessory needs.
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the parts department in the absence of the Parts Manager.
  • Order, return, receive, and provide parts to the service department.
  • Accurately receive and assign parts and purchases to the appropriate service and customer orders.
  • Communicate in an efficient and timely manner with OEM suppliers both over the phone and through email.
  • Recommend products and encourage sales while assisting customers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and work unsupervised.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be available to work overtime during the busy seasons, some weekends are a must.
  • Other duties as needed.
Education
  • Minimum of High School degree or equivalent
  • ASE certification, preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
Experience
  • Must have working knowledge of marine parts and components.
  • A minimum 2-years of experience in a repair or service facility.
  • Good administrative, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Lightspeed software is a plus.
  • Computer skills a must.
Salary

$20 - $27 per hour
