Position Overview
The Part‑Time Police Dispatcher receives emergency and non‑emergency requests for Police assistance, determines the nature/urgency of calls, and initiates police or other emergency personnel action. A dispatcher operates a variety of communications equipment including radio consoles, telephones, and computer systems.
Position requires shift work: days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Successful applicants must pass a background check.
Qualifications- United States citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous EMS dispatch/communication experience
$22.66 per hour
