Primary
Purpose:
Equipment Usage:
Computer terminals, calculators, printers, copiers, telephone and other equipment as needed.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Transfer to the appropriate individual or department.
- Take accurate messages and forward to appropriate individuals or departments.
- Request coverage of incoming calls when unavailable.
Respond with appropriate chat support in a timely manner and/or assign to appropriate branch/department.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Individuals must possess, be able to explain and demonstrate that they have the skills, the ability and knowledge in the Retail Department in order to safely and efficiently perform the essential and secondary functions of the Telephone Operator and Receptionist's position, with or without reasonable assistance and with or without mechanical devices.
External and internal applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act must be able to perform the essential job functions (as listed) either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined by management on a case by case basis.
Physical:
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction; pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers continuously.
- Ability to withstand substantial movements (motions) of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time primarily in one spot.
- Ability to lift 30lbs from the floor to above waist level occasionally to pass coin orders over the counter to customers.
- Ability to crouch and kneel for short periods of time to service and/or set up equipment.
- Ability to walk about the work area to perform various tasks.
- Ability to push and pull objects of larger size to move equipment and coin when necessary.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. Essential functions include activities in which incumbent must convey detailed or important spoken ideas to co-workers and customers.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discrimination in sound.
