Role Description

The Architect will work full time on-site - three locations:
North Hampton, NH, Essex, MA and Wellesley, MA, collaborating with designers, builders, and clients to develop high-quality residential projects from concept through construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating architectural design concepts, preparing drawings and specifications, coordinating with consultants, and reviewing construction details to ensure design integrity and buildability. The role involves participating in client meetings, refining plans based on feedback, and aligning projects with local codes, regulations, and site conditions.

The Architect will support project management activities such as tracking schedules, communicating with project stakeholders, and assisting with documentation and construction administration to keep projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience in residential or custom home projects.
  • Ability to collaborate on Integration of design with construction practices, including coordination with builders and consultants.
  • Project Management skills to help manage timelines, deliverables, and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with relevant architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar design tools).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program; professional licensure or licensure track is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction documentation standards.
  • Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and design quality.
  • Ability to work on-site in Essex, MA, and collaborate effectively in a studio environment.
