Role DescriptionThe Kitchen and Bath Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lebanon, NH. This position is responsible for meeting with customers to understand their project goals, measuring spaces, and creating functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath layouts. The designer prepares detailed design plans, product selections, and quotes, while coordinating cabinetry and related materials from order through delivery. Day-to-day tasks include assisting walk-in customers, managing design projects from concept to completion, collaborating with sales and installation teams, and ensuring a professional, organized showroom environment.
The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, following up on leads, and providing clear, timely communication throughout the design and sales process.
- Strong skills in Kitchen & Bath Design and practical knowledge of layout, materials, and finishes.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to effectively support clients from initial consultation through project completion.
- Sales abilities, including consultative selling, follow-up, and closing opportunities in a retail or design environment.
- Cabinetry knowledge, including product lines, construction types, and installation considerations.
- Proficiency with design software and basic computer applications (e.g., CAD tools, email, office software).
- Attention to detail, spatial awareness, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Lebanon, NH, including collaborating with store teams and vendors.
- Prior experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, or a related field; relevant certification or coursework is a plus.
