Fee‑For‑Service Attending Physician / Medical Director – Wolfeboro Bay Center (Wolfeboro, NH)
Overview

Sub‑Acute, Long‑Term Care is a sector of healthcare exploding with potential and work‑life balance flexibility, with no on call! We are seeking a dual‑role Attending Physician/Medical Director for our Wolfeboro Bay Center. The position is clinical in nature and requires board certification or board eligibility (BC/BE) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with long‑term care experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Center Medical Director to ensure the delivery of clinical services aligns with Align Med Partners’ mission.
  • Oversee implementation, utilization, and outcomes measurement of Align Med Partners Clinical Programs and nationally accepted standards of care.
  • Report to the Align Med Partners Regional Medical Director and to the Center’s Administrator and Medical Director on legal and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Take complete responsibility for patients admitted to the service, including timely visits and comprehensive care.
  • Comply with Align Med Partners credentialing, policy and procedure, corporate integrity, and time‑off/on‑call policies.
  • Ensure assessment and history/physical examination are documented within 72 hours of admission.
  • Deliver high‑quality care, serve as a role model, and help articulate the Mission to the community and professional organizations.
  • Coordinate transfers and care arrangements with area hospitals and institutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO required.
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification.
  • Geriatrics specialization desirable.
  • Experience in long‑term care setting.
