Kingswood Regional High School is seeking a dynamic diagnostic prescriptive teacher/special education teacher to provide direct service and consultation to students with a variety of educational disabilities. Candidate must be able to work as a member of a team, utilize educational data to guide interventions, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to implement special education rules and procedures outlined by the New Hampshire Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities.
Responsibilities- Direct service/instruction in academic and social/behavioral skills
- Consultation
- Development of positive intervention plans
- Writing Functional Behavior Assessments
- Facilitation and case management of the implementation of Individual Education Plans
Must hold New Hampshire Department of Education certification in general special education.
