Teacher(s) assigned

Teacher(s), Specialists, and Building Administrator

To implement instructional activities and programs as directed.

• Work with students individually, in small groups, or in large groups as necessary and as prescribed by the immediate supervisor.
• Classroom and Support Assistants:
  Usually work with students in the general school population.
• Special Education Assistants:
  Usually work with students with identified special needs, or who require additional educational assistance as defined in an individual education plan (IEP). Assistants provide support in the appropriate educational setting.
• Demonstrate a continuous sensitivity to the needs of children to whom they are assigned.
• Carry out instructional or developmental activities suggested by the teacher, specialist, or others designated by the building administrator.
• Maintain competency and skills through a variety of available offerings.
• May be responsible for personal care needs of student(s).
• May be expected to obtain and maintain CPI (Non Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

To be established by the school board by August 20th.

HOURLY SALARY
: $18.08 plus $1.00 for a certification from the NH Department of Education as a para educator II or as a teacher. An Educational Assistant who is certified as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) will receive a $3.00 per hour differential.

Hour/Day: 6.5
School Year: 183 days/year

Performance to be evaluated no less than annually by the building administrator and immediate supervisor(s).
