The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of New Hampshire seeks applicants to fill a benefits‑eligible, non‑tenure‑track Lecturer position to begin on August, 2026. This is a one‑year, non‑renewable position. The position will be expected to teach courses ranging from large introductory lecture/studio classes in undergraduate physics to advanced classes in the physics graduate program, as well as seminars and recitations within the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
Job Duties- Teach courses in the Department of Physics and Astronomy
- Teach recitations in the Department of Physics and Astronomy
- Attend department meetings
- Participate on department committees
Individuals should have a PhD in physics or a related field and will be evaluated on their academic credentials, their commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, and their potential to meet the University of New Hampshire’s goal of creating an educational environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and quality engagement for all.
