ESOL Teacher Position

Fall opening in Moharimet for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher. The Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking a full-time ESOL teacher at Moharimet Elementary. Must have knowledge of second language acquisition. New Hampshire ESOL certification is required or must be certifiable in NH.

Responsibilities include:

provide instructional lessons, provide culturally responsive and asset-based learning experiences for students, use of research-based second-language teaching techniques, design and implement instructions to meet the needs of all learners, use of a variety of formal and informal assessments to monitor progress, provide student support, develop and coordinate programs, coordinate, plan and administer ACCESS testing. Other duties as part of department coordination.
