Are you energetic, patient, and passionate about helping young minds grow? We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Para educator to join our early childhood team. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment for children aged 3 to 5. Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, managing classroom transitions, and setting up activities (arts and crafts, sensory play, story time).
  • Individualized Attention:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need extra support reaching their developmental milestones.
  • Safety & Supervision:
Maintain a watchful eye on children during classroom time, recess, lunchtime, and bathroom breaks to ensure a safe environment.
  • Positive Behavioral Support:
Help guide children in developing social skills, sharing, and emotional regulation using positive reinforcement.
  • Daily Operations:
Assist with light classroom cleanup, organizing materials, and preparing the room for the next day's adventures.

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience working with young children (ages 3-5) in a daycare, preschool, or school setting is highly preferred.
  • Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a major plus).
  • Key Traits:
Infinite patience, a high level of energy, and a genuine love for early childhood development.
  • Skills:

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with the classroom teacher and staff.
