SYMS Faculty - Adjunct

Duties/Responsibilities Instruction (75%)

• Instruct each class as assigned, arriving on time for class and immediately submitting camper attendance to the online system.

• Selecting teaching materials and planning for coursework as assigned.

• Respond in a timely manner to all emails and messages from camp leadership, both prior to camp and during.
• Complete the necessary background check and protection of minors training immediately upon receipt.

• Undergraduate degree in music or music education.
• Experience teaching middle-school and high-school music students.

• Demonstrated ability to work sympathetically with adolescents, providing both musical instruction and personal/behavioral guidance.

Approximately $260.00 per course.
