Special Education Teacher/Case Manager

Deerfield Community School is a PreK-8 grade school located in Deerfield, NH (SAU #53). We are actively seeking a NH certified Special Education teacher/case manager to fill a short-term parental leave from September 2026-January 2027. At Deerfield Community School our teaching staff develops strong relationships not only with our students and parents, but also with the community. Teachers go above and beyond to meet the diverse needs of their students and to help their colleagues grow through participation in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Curriculum Review Board (CRB), and weekly all-staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Candidates will instruct small groups of students and oversee all aspects of their specialized instructional program. Intersted applicants must have a solid understanding of the special education process. The position requires an ability to provide specialized instruction to meet the needs of students in accordance to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Qualified candidates will demonstrate a strong ability to successfully collaborate with classroom teachers and other members of the IEP team.

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism are a must. Education & Qualifications Profile Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment. NH State Certification - Special Education Teacher
