Social Studies Teacher

Candidates who champion a growth mindset and promote a sense of inquiry for all students are greatly valued in our educational organization. The selected candidate will possess an ability to ignite students' interest in social studies and engage students in meaningful learning opportunities through project-based inquiry. Responsible for social studies curriculum and instruction for high school students.

Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;
New Hampshire certification in 5-12 social studies or the ability to receive a statement of eligibility through the Department of Education. Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, techniques involved in lesson plan development and classroom instruction. Strong classroom management skills including experience.

Preferred:
Two years or more of high school teaching experience and experience with competency-based education.
