Job DescriptionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates who champion a growth mindset and promote a sense of inquiry for all students are greatly valued in our educational organization. The selected candidate will possess an ability to ignite students' interest in social studies and engage students in meaningful learning opportunities through project‑based inquiry. Responsible for social studies curriculum and instruction for middle school students.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- New Hampshire K–8 elementary education certification;
New Hampshire 6–8 or 6–12 social studies certification, or statement of eligibility through the Department of Education. - Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, techniques involved in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills with experience.
Preferred:
- Two years or more of middle school teaching experience.
- Experience with competency‑based education.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
