We are currently recruiting Pupil Support Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in Croydon from September
.
This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs within a specialist school environment. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual targets.
The role will include:
- Supporting pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting with learning activities and behaviour management
- Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school or care setting
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
Training and ongoing support will be provided.

- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children's Workforce (or Children's & Adults' Update Service), or be willing to obtain one
