Adjunct Professor of Law
We are welcoming applications for future adjunct faculty openings at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. Interested candidates should submit a Cover Letter and Resume/CV, referencing the type of law experience and an interest in teaching.
Responsibilities- Preparing the syllabus and materials for course delivery.
- Updating the course information and materials within the applicable Learning Management System.
- Providing students with timely and specific feedback.
- Responding to student inquiries within 24 hours.
- Offering weekly office hours for individual or group consultation.
- Grading assignments and exams in a timely manner and no later than by the deadline set by the law school.
- Submitting final grades according to UNH Franklin Pierce policy and the individual program calendars.
- Maintaining communication with UNH Franklin Pierce faculty and staff through email, mail, telephone, and any other medium deemed appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Associate Dean for Faculty, subject to approval of the Dean, will determine the Adjunct’s workload and will be responsible for evaluating the Adjunct’s performance.
This is an evergreen posting. While there may not be an immediate opening, we regularly hire for this position throughout the year. Applications are reviewed as opportunities become available.
CompensationPay Range: $2,150 – $15,000 depending on the course, the number of credits, and the instructor’s experience.
