Educational Associate Positions

The Hampton Falls School District is actively seeking qualified candidates for (2) Educational Associate positions. The Educational Associate position assists the teachers in general daily classroom activities, supporting students with specialized needs, including those that are physical, and/or emotional. The ideal candidate supports inclusive practices and is an advocate for all students by affirming their abilities and striving to promote dignity in all relationships.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience working with children, specifically with disabilities, preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist students in achieving academic success
• Support students who may require emotional regulation
• Provide behavior support (training provided)
• Support social integration
• Consult and collaborate with Special Education and Regular Education Educators as well as related service providers
• Assist students with physical elements of hygiene and grooming
• Assist students with daily transactions (e.g. transition between tasks and/or rooms, lunch, playground, etc.)
