Academic Tutor
Academic/writing support to students outside the classroom by helping students understand course material, prepare for exams, improve their study strategies, or assist with writing skits. Tutors will work closely with faculty to align tutoring efforts with course objectives and student needs.
Work closely with faculty to understand course content and identify students needing extra help. Provide feedback on common academic challenges.
Students with strong academic performance in the course(s) to be tutored, with faculty recommendation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with faculty.
