Educational Associate

The Barnard School in South Hampton is actively seeking a qualified candidate for an Educational Associate. The Educational Associate provides instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher. Responsibilities include working with individual students and small groups within the multi-age classroom to reinforce instruction, provide targeted academic support, and promote student engagement and independence. Additional responsibilities include supporting students during related art classes and other instructional settings.

Assisting with classroom organization, preparation of instructional materials, and other teacher-directed tasks throughout the school day. Supervising students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times to ensure a safe and positive school environment. Providing behavioral support and helping students develop positive social skills and appropriate classroom behaviors. Collaborating with classroom teachers and other staff members to support student learning and meet individual student needs.
