Music Teacher

Allenstown Community School is a K-8th grade school located in Allenstown, NH. We are actively seeking qualified candidates for a Music teacher for the  school year. Qualified candidates would be responsible for helping design and implement a rich curriculum, dynamic student-centered instruction delivered in music classes, and performance-based assessments. At Allenstown Community School, our teaching staff works to develop strong relationships not only with our students and parents but also with the community.

Teachers are constantly going above and beyond to meet the diverse needs of their students and to help their peers grow through participation in various school groups.

Essential Functions:

• Knowledge of current music teaching methods and educational pedagogy.
• Knowledge of music curriculum and concepts.
• Develop and administer the ACS Music Curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
• Provide the very best instruction, emotional guidance, and social development for each child.

Qualifications Profile:

• Certification/License: NH State Certification as a Music Teacher
• Education:
  
  Bachelors or Masters from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
• Experience:
  
  Successful elementary/middle school teaching experience a plus
