Special Education Social Emotional Counselor

Kingswood Regional High School is seeking a dynamic school counselor to work with students identified as having emotional disabilities. This counselor works closely with the special education teacher for the program serving students with emotional disabilities. The counselor and special education teacher collaborate on appropriate and effective programming for students. Preference would be made for interested candidates to have knowledge and experience working with children with serious emotional disabilities and mental health challenges.

Team approach and collaboration with multiple stakeholders is also important. Knowledge of area agencies and community mental health resources. School Counselor certification required. This half time position is grant funded.
