Position: Special Education Teacher 36-week Contract *Up to 55/hr
Location: Enfield

Special Education Teacher

This 36-week contract in Enfield, NH offers competitive pay and benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in special education.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, administrators, and other educators, to support student progress

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and student independence

Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly

Ensure compliance with state and federal educational regulations and maintain detailed documentation of student activities and assessments

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; NH certification (preferably 1900 NH cert) or equivalent

State certification appropriate for special education teaching

Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting with students having specialized education needs

Experience in case management and fostering student independence

Student-centered, collaborative, and dedicated to fostering independence

Excellent communication and advocacy skills

Background check and compliance with facility policies

Ability to work days, 37.5 hours per week

Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations affecting educational professionals

Adaptability, teamwork, and dedication to student success
