Morning Program Helper - Part-Time

Part-Time Morning Program Assistant

Chester Academy is seeking part-time employees for two hours per day to supervise students and help with our morning care program. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, experience working with children, and have the ability to uphold school wide procedures under the guidance of administration.

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise and engage with students during the morning care program
• Support positive student behavior and help maintain a safe, orderly environment
• Uphold school wide policies and procedures under the guidance of school administration

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to carry out school rules and procedures
• Ability to establish a positive and supportive relationship with students
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students and staff
• Effective verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
• Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
  High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with children
• Strong communication skills

Salary: $18.00 per hour / 2 hours per day (6:30 a.m.

- 8:30 a.m.) / 182 days following the 26/27 academic calendar
