We are seeking a warm, patient, and energetic Young Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Brookline, NH. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where infants and toddlers up to 18 months can explore, learn, and grow. You will design age-appropriate activities, foster social-emotional development, and build strong partnerships with families to ensure each child thrives during this critical stage of development.
What You'll Do- Plan and implement a creative, play-based curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of young toddlers.
- Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independent learning.
- Support toddlers through daily routines including diapering, meals, and naptime.
- Observe and document each child's progress, milestones, and daily activities to share with parents.
- Maintain open, positive, and professional communication with families and team members.
- Teachers have the flexibility to use their own creativity to create lesson plans based on pre-selected school wide themes and are provided a monthly budget for materials.
- We offer paid planning time and professional development assistance.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers or infants in a licensed childcare center.
- Ability to meet New Hampshire child care licensing requirements, including a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire.
- Exceptional patience, stamina, and communication skills to engage effectively with young children and parents.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Familiarity with New Hampshire Early Learning Guidelines.
