About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team in Brookline, NH. In this role, you will design and implement a high-quality curriculum that fosters a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. You will guide assistant teachers, collaborate closely with families, and ensure that every child's unique emotional, social, and academic needs are met.
WhatYou'll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive and social development.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom volunteers to maintain a cohesive team environment.
- Maintain continuous, open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily milestones.
- Assess student development regularly and adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning styles.
- Ensure the classroom adheres to all state licensing regulations, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.
- Minimum of 12 credits in ECE or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a lead or primary teacher in a licensed childcare or school setting.
- Active New Hampshire teacher certification or eligibility to meet NH Childcare Licensing Bureau lead teacher requirements.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire.
- Available to work until 5:30 pm
- Associate's degree in Education or a specialized teaching discipline.
- Proficiency using digital classroom management and parent communication apps like Brightwheel
