Civil / Environmental Engineering Project Manager
An established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager – Water Engineering with 7+years of experience in municipal water systems. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex water infrastructure projects while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams.
The successful candidate will manage projects involving water distribution systems, pump stations, and water treatment facilities
, with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and quality control. This position also includes mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development efforts.
Manage municipal water projects from design through construction
Serve as primary point of contact for clients
Coordinate and oversee engineering design teams
Prepare and review plans, specifications, and technical reports
Mentor and train junior engineers
Track project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Support business development through client meetings and proposal participation
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
7+ years of experience in municipal water engineering within a consulting environment
Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Hampshire or ability to obtain via reciprocity
Proven experience managing projects for municipal water clients
Strong technical background in water distribution systems
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively
Experience with Deltek Vision or similar project management systems is a plus.
