We are seeking an LTAMDS (Lower Tier Missile Defense Sensor) Program Quality Engineer (PQE) at our Pelham, New Hampshire location. Responsibilities include promoting and executing quality practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS). The role supports U.S. and/or foreign programs across design, development, production, and sustainment phases.
Key Responsibilities- Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in accordance with AS9145 and internal APQP requirements.
- Standardize and implement LTAMDS test defect data entry for quick and easy analysis.
- Analyze LTAMDS test defect data to drive priority focus for factory/program support teams; support containment, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Develop and monitor major end‑item test performance metrics to maintain program health and drive continuous improvement.
- Perform process walks, operator observations, and lead stakeholder discussions/action plans to enhance processes and designs.
- Identify supplier escapes/issues and ensure proper containment and back‑flow to the Supplier Quality Management team.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems, or technical supplier management.
- Manufacturing process knowledge (assembly, inspection, and/or test) and experience in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Experience developing or using quality metrics for root‑cause analysis and quality verification.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Existing U.S. Secret or higher clearance.
- Experience with APQP/AS9145, PPAP, Key Characteristics, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and interfacing with customers and suppliers.
- Experience facilitating cross‑functional teams in Six‑Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with SAP/PRISM or other ERP tools.
