Sr. Controls Engineer

Location: West Lebanon, NH (relocation assistance available)

A globally recognized, 100% employee-owned manufacturer is seeking a Senior Staff Controls Engineer to join its Test & Automation team. This is a high-impact role designing custom assembly automation equipment and automated functional test systems deployed across global manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do:

• Design and deploy automation solutions integrating motion control actuators, motors, servo presses, sensors, gages, and SCADA systems.
• Lead development of electrical controls for custom machines and test systems — ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability across global operations.
• Partner across business and functional teams to deliver high-impact manufacturing solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or related) plus 8+ years in controls automation.
• Experience with robotics (Fanuc, Epson, UR) and vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with HMIs, Solid Works, AutoCAD, PowerBI, and mistake-proofing principles.
• Strong communicator who can drive projects from concept to completion.
