Project Manager, Operations Management, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Founded over 70 years ago, we are a global manufacturer of industrial food processing and packaging equipment. We design and build customized systems used by major food producers and are known for delivering highly engineered equipment, long-term stability, and strong support throughout the full project lifecycle from concept through installation and start-up.

  Approximately 10%–20%

• Manage projects from quote review through shipment, installation, and closeout.
• Review specs, purchase orders, guarantees, and project costs to identify issues early.
• Maintain project schedules, sales orders, and updates in SAP and Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate outside vendors for specialized equipment, pricing, schedules, and approvals.
• Track projects through engineering, manufacturing, testing, shipping, and start-up.
• Communicate status updates internally and with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage scope changes, punch lists, warranty support, and project closeout analysis.

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the food industry.
• Background working with industrial equipment, machinery, or processing systems.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, and related project tools.
• Ability to read mechanical assembly, layout, and electrical drawings.
• Strong vendor coordination, cost tracking, and customer communication skills.
• Ability to travel 10%–20%; bilingual is a plus.
