* The Opportunity:

** We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Management Accountant to support the Legends Tour,  one of the four professional tours operated by the European Tour Group and delivered as a joint venture with Staysure. You’ll provide accurate, timely and insightful financial information that powers smart decisions and keeps robust financial controls in place across the business.

From month‑end to M  packs, cashflow to collections, you’ll blend financial and non‑financial data to spot risks and opportunities, tell the story behind the numbers, and help the team drive performance. You’ll work closely with Legends Tour operations and the wider finance function, building trusted relationships and making a tangible difference.

This is a full‑time role, starting with a primary focus on the Legends Tour. As you build experience and continue your development, you’ll be supported to broaden your responsibilities across the wider business.

*** Lead the month‑end close: prepare and post journals, complete balance‑sheet reviews, and ensure ledgers accurately reflect trading performance.
* Produce timely, accurate monthly reporting: actuals‑vs‑plan analysis, variance commentary and supporting schedules — all with strong financial controls.
* Prepare monthly Management Business Review (M ) packs for the Legends Tour Senior Leadership Team and the PGA European Tour, delivering clear, decision‑ready insights.
* Support the annual budgeting process end‑to‑end.
* Support external audit requirements, including financial statement review, going‑concern analysis and ad‑hoc evidence provision.
* Begin with the Legends Tour and, with support, expand your remit as you grow.
** Purchase Orders & Payables Support
*** Prepare and conduct a first‑stage review of scheduled payment runs.
* Review payables runs produced by Finance Operations, identifying required inclusions/exclusions.
* Support funding and cashflow visibility through preparation of the monthly funding analysis.
** Invoicing, Debtors & Working Capital
*** Prepare and distribute the weekly Debtors Report to the Legends Tour SLT.
* Monitor overdue balances and partner with Finance Operations and commercial teams to expedite collections.
* Support ongoing improvements to invoicing and debt‑management processes.
** Treasury Support
*** Monitor bank balances and prepare short‑term liquidity assessments.
* Work closely with Treasury to ensure timely visibility of cash requirements.
** What you’ll bring
**** Technical skills & experience
*** Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with demonstrable experience partnering with non‑finance stakeholders.
* Strong financial control, planning and organisational discipline.
* A passion for continuous process improvement and driving operational efficiency.
