Finance Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Specialist to join a fast-paced and collaborative Finance team within a well-established professional services organization. This individual will play a critical role in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring continuity across multiple accounting functions. This is a fully onsite position that requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively across teams.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as a key backup across multiple finance functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable/Escrow

· Provide coverage during team member absences, including vacations and remote workdays

· Participate in a rotating schedule to support various financial responsibilities and ensure departmental continuity

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including colleagues and senior professionals, to meet departmental goals

· Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by Finance leadership

· Perform general administrative and financial support duties as needed

Qualifications:

· Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

· Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, including exposure to AP, AR, and billing

· Strong data entry skills with high accuracy (10-key proficiency required)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

· Ability to quickly learn new systems and software

· Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders

· Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

· This role is 100% onsite with no remote flexibility
