The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) oversees licensing and regulation of both land-based gambling – casinos, betting offices, controlled machines, and society lotteries – and the online gambling sector. With a risk‑based approach, the GSC engages proactively with operators to ensure compliance is clear, understood, and effectively implemented.
As a Gaming Officer within the Licensing Team, you will provide vital administrative and operational support to Inspectors, Senior Inspectors/Technical Specialists, and the Director. Your responsibilities include maintaining key GSC records and databases, supporting effective workflow management, undertaking know‑your‑customer checks, preparing external correspondence and documentation, taking minutes, assisting with inspections of new premises hosting controlled machines, and tagging new machines as required.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a trusted regulatory authority, develop your expertise in gambling supervision, and play a key part in upholding the Isle of Man’s reputation for integrity, professionalism, and high standards in the industry.
