Summary

For a limited time, Maine Health is offering up to $8,000 sign-on bonus for Paramedics!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full-time Paramedic position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current Maine Health employees are ineligible; former Maine Health employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

The Paramedic role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient's injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Completion of Paramedic Course required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required. Valid Driver's License required. Current BLS certification required. PIFT Certification required within six months of start date. Locations in New Hampshire require an NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.
  • Experience:

    One year of relevant experience preferred.
