Scope Of PositionAs a Laundry Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of clothing and linens for our residents and staff.
Examples of Duties- Collect soiled linen, clothing, and other items from nursing home units and other approved sources daily.
- Sort and label items in accordance with departmental policies.
- Wash, dry, and hand-fold clothing and linens following established procedures.
- Prepare and deliver linen carts and clothing to units or for pick-up as needed.
- Operate the laundry truck between buildings.
- Provide direction to correctional inmates for approved laundry functions.
- No prior experience or training required—start your career with us!
- Ability to occasionally move items weighing 100 pounds
Shift Differential
- $2.00/hour - 2nd shift
- $2.00/hour - 3rd shift
- 20% of base rate of pay Weekend premium – all shifts
